Race For Gold Meet
Race for Gold is a special opportunity for swimmers who are within five seconds of a Contra Costa County qualifying time to make one final push toward achieving their County Championship goal.
Team Entries + Cost
Team Entries are due by Tuesday, July 14 by 6:00 PM. Please email your entries to [email protected].
- Individual swimmers must be within 5 seconds of the Gold/County time standard for their age-group in an event to participate in that particular event. A copy of these time standards will be attached.
- No Times will NOT be accepted.
- Swimmers shall swim a maximum of 3 events.
There is an entry fee of $30 per swimmer. Teams can pay for their swimmer(s) on Zeffy, or can pay the day of the meet. Please make checks payable to Hercules Piranhas Swim Team.
Walk-on entries: are accepted on Sunday, July 19, 2026, by 8:00 AM. Walk-ons must show proof of qualifying time and will only be seeded in an event if there is an open lane OR if a swimmer does not show. The swimmer must be on the original roster that was submitted by their team. These swimmers will not be in the meet program and will need to ask the timers to write in their name. If the swimmer was not previously entered, they must pay a $40 entry fee at the pool entrance prior to swimming.
